The General Manager of Senegal Numerique SA, Isidore DIOUF joined the strong delegation led by the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, Alioune Sall to pay a courtesy visit to the holy city of Tivaouane in preparation for Maouloud 2024, the 122nd edition
The delegation composed of important departments of the ministry, including Senegal Numerique, La Poste, TDS, the Maison de la Presse as well as their respective general directors went to Serigne Babacar SY Abdou Aziz, who received the minister and his collaborators on behalf of the General Khalifa of Tidianes.
"It was a moment marked by cordiality where the minister notably returned to the special system put in place to ensure connectivity and free access to the internet throughout the Gamou, in particular with the assistance of Senegal Numerique and its teams," rejoiced Isidore Diouf, Director General of SENUM SA.
In a speech filled with wisdom and kindness, Serigne Babacar SY Abdou thanked Minister Alioune Sall and the entire delegation while offering prayers for the actions undertaken by the ministerial department through its various services within the framework of Gamou.
The delegation then went to Serigne Maodo SY Dabakh who received the minister and his colleagues. Here too, the purpose of the trip was to take stock of the system set in motion by the Ministry's services, in particular the strengthening of connectivity and free internet access for the entire duration of the Gamou provided by the services of Senegal Numérique.
The tour ended with visits to Aïnoumadi at the home of Serigne Habib SY Dabakh and Serigne Moustapha SY Al Maktoum where his son and representative of the day received the delegation and spoke with the minister.
